About Me

Linnea Stevens, MA

(Lih-NAY-uh) She/Her/Hers

Muted Pfp.png

Hi! I'm Linnea. I create colorful, whimsical artworks in both traditional and digital media. My sources for inspiration include vintage comics, children's books, fairy tales, 2D animation, video games, and pinup art. My work often showcases my off-beat sense of humor and my niche interests.

I am also a university professor with a passion for introducing art students to the invaluable resource of Art History. I developed curricula for History of Comics and History of Illustration, and have also taught Art History Survey and Intro to Visual Analysis.

I'm actively involved in the arts scene of Dayton, OH. I operate out of my private studio at Tend & Flourish Wellness Collective, and lead figure drawing classes at the Dayton Society of Artists. Scroll down to see what event's I'll be at this year!
